Welcome to Reso, operated by Diabolical Labs. By using our web application, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Reso is an AI-powered job search assistant that helps you analyze how well your CV fits a job, improve your CV, track applications, and prepare for interviews.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using our services, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement with Diabolical Labs, that you accept these Terms, and that you agree to follow them. If you do not agree, please do not use Reso.
2. Description of Services
Reso provides AI-powered tools to help you manage and improve your job search. We may change, pause, or discontinue parts of the service at any time. Reso currently offers:
- CV and Job Analysis: Upload your CV and paste or upload a job description. Our AI compares the two and gives you a match score, a detailed breakdown (strengths, gaps, and recommendations), and guidance on how to improve your application.
- Tailored CV Generation: Based on your analysis results, Reso creates a customized version of your CV designed to better match the job. You can review, download, or print it.
- Job Application Tracking: Reso automatically creates a job entry each time you analyze a new role, so you can track your applications, update statuses, and keep notes in one place.
- Interview Preparation: Generate AI-powered interview prep packs with company overviews, likely questions, and stage-specific tips. You can also log interview sessions and summarize your notes using AI.
- Insights and History: Review your past analyses, scores, and trends over time through dashboards and history views.
We may add new features or update existing ones over time. Some features may be offered in beta or limited release.
3. Credits and Payments
Reso uses a credit-based system. We call credits "Pulses."
- Free credits: New users receive a limited number of free Pulses when they sign up, so you can try the service at no cost.
- How credits are used: Each AI-powered analysis (one CV compared against one job description) uses 1 Pulse. Other features may also use Pulses, and this will be clearly indicated in the app.
- Buying more credits: When your free Pulses run out, you can purchase additional Pulse packages through the Buy Credits section. Payments are handled by a secure third-party payment provider.
- Payment availability: Certain payment features may be temporarily enabled or disabled at our discretion (for example, during testing periods).
- No refunds: Unless required by law, all credit purchases are final and non-refundable, including unused or partially used Pulses.
You are responsible for all charges made under your account.
4. User Accounts
To use most features — such as saving your analysis history, tracking jobs, and buying credits — you need to create an account using a valid email address and password, or by signing in with Google (when available).
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information when you register and in your profile.
- Keep your password secure and not share it with anyone.
- Let us know immediately at support@dianaismail.me if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
We may suspend or close your account if we detect fraud, misuse, or a violation of these Terms.
5. Your Content and Data
You own everything you upload to Reso, including your CVs, job descriptions, notes, and other materials ("Your Content").
By uploading Your Content, you give Diabolical Labs permission to use, copy, process, and display it solely for the purpose of running the service for you — for example, performing analyses, generating tailored CVs, creating interview prep, and maintaining your history and insights.
Improving the service: You acknowledge that Reso may use Your Content in an anonymized, non-identifiable form (with all personal details removed) to improve our algorithms and optimize the service. This anonymized data cannot be used to identify you.
You are responsible for making sure you have the right to upload the content you submit, and that it does not violate any laws or anyone else's rights.
6. Data Protection and Privacy
We are committed to protecting your personal data in line with applicable laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), where they apply.
In particular:
- Data Protection Officer: We have appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) to oversee our data practices and compliance.
- Why we process your data: We process your personal data based on your consent and, where necessary, to fulfill our agreement with you (for example, to analyze your CV or maintain your account).
- International transfers: Your data may be processed and stored in other countries through our service providers (such as our AI provider and hosting platform). Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect your data during cross-border transfers.
- Your rights: Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, restrict, or delete your personal data, as well as to object to certain processing or withdraw consent. Contact us at support@dianaismail.me to exercise these rights.
- Data export and deletion: You can export your data (as a downloadable archive) and request account deletion from within the app. Deletion involves deactivating your account, anonymizing your historical records, and removing directly identifiable information, in line with our legal obligations.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to run and secure the service.
- Session cookies: We use secure, encrypted cookies to keep you signed in. These are required for the service to work.
- Browser storage: We save certain preferences (such as your language choice and display theme) in your browser's local storage to improve your experience.
By using the service, you consent to our use of these technologies as described here and in our Privacy Policy.
8. AI Disclaimer
Reso uses advanced AI models provided by third parties (such as OpenAI). While we design our systems to be helpful and accurate, please keep in mind:
- AI is not perfect: AI can occasionally produce incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information. Always review and verify any AI-generated content before relying on it — especially in job applications.
- No guarantees: A high match score or positive analysis from Reso does not guarantee that you will be shortlisted, interviewed, or offered a job.
- Use your own judgment: Our tools are meant to support your decisions, not replace them. You are responsible for how you use AI-generated results.
9. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the service:
- In any way that breaks any applicable law or regulation.
- For any fraudulent, misleading, or dishonest purpose.
- To send spam, advertising, or promotional material without our permission.
- To impersonate Diabolical Labs, any of our team members, another user, or any other person.
- To manipulate, bypass, or interfere with our credit system, payments, or security controls.
- To reverse engineer, copy, or attempt to access the underlying systems, AI models, or code behind the application.
- To upload content that is harmful, abusive, discriminatory, or that infringes on anyone's rights (including intellectual property and privacy).
We may investigate and take action (including suspending or closing your account) if you violate this section.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Diabolical Labs, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, loss of use, or other intangible losses — arising from:
- Your use of, or inability to use, the service.
- Any actions or content from third parties on the service.
- Any content or information you receive from the service (including AI-generated results).
- Unauthorized access to or changes to your data or content.
Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you have paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms removes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you through the app or by email.
Your continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you disagree with the changes, please stop using the service.
