Welcome to Reso, operated by Diabolical Labs. By accessing or using our web application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Reso is a tool designed to assist job seekers by analysing job application suitability, and optimizing resumes by using artificial intelligence.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our services, you confirm that you can form a binding contract with Diabolical Labs, that you accept these Terms and that you agree to comply with them. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

Reso provides AI-powered analysis of resumes and job descriptions to help users improve their job applications. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice. Reso provides the following specific services:

  • Fit Analysis: We analyze the compatibility between your uploaded CV/Resume and a provided Job Description using AI technology (OpenAI). We provide a "Match Score," a detailed analysis report, and improvement suggestions.
  • Content Generation: Our "CVGenerator" tool creates tailored versions of your CV based on analysis results, which you may download.
  • History: We store a history of your past analyses for your review.

3. Credits and Payments

  • Free Tier: New users are provided with a limited number of complimentary credits to try the service.
  • Purchasing Credits: Additional analysis requires the purchase of credits through our "Buy Credits" section.
  • No Refunds: Unless required by applicable law, all purchases of credits are final and non-refundable.

4. User Accounts

To access certain features, such as saving your analysis history or purchasing credits, you must register for an account using your email and password.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the service and for any activities or actions under your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. You agree to provide accurate and current information (e.g., Name, Job Title) in your user profile.

5. User Content and Data

You retain all rights to any content you submit through the service (e.g., CVs, Job Descriptions). By submitting content, you grant Diabolical Labs a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, display and distribute such content for the purpose of providing our services.

Service Optimization: You acknowledge and agree that Reso may use your content in an anonymized and aggregated format—stripped of all personally identifiable information—to improve our algorithms, research usage patterns, and optimize the service. This ensures that the data used for improvement cannot be traced back to you or identified as yours.

6. Data Protection and Privacy

We are committed to protecting your personal data in compliance with global standards, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

  • Accountability & DPO: In accordance with PDPA requirements, we have appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) to oversee our data practices.
  • Lawful Basis for Processing: We process your data based on your consent and the necessity to fulfill the contract of providing you with our services (e.g., analyzing your CV).
  • International Transfers: Your data may be processed internationally. We ensure that any cross-border transfers to service providers (such as AI processors or cloud hosts) are protected by appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, to meet both GDPR and PDPA transfer obligations.
  • Your Rights: You have the right to request access to your personal data, correct inaccuracies, and, under certain conditions, request the deletion of your data. We respect your rights to transparency regarding how your data is used.

7. Cookies and Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to provide and enhance our Service.

  • Essential Cookies: We use a secure, HTTP-only session cookie to manage your login session and authentication. This is essential for the security and operation of the Service.
  • Local Storage: We may use local storage to save your user preferences (such as your preferred language) to improve your experience.

8. AI Disclaimer

Our services utilize advanced artificial intelligence (AI). You acknowledge that:

  • Accuracy: AI models can occasionally produce incorrect or "hallucinated" information. You should verify all advice, rewrites, and analysis provided by Reso before using them in real-world applications (e.g., submitting a job application).
  • No Guarantee: A high "Match Score" on Reso does not guarantee a job interview or offer.

9. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the service:

  • In any way that violates any applicable national or international law or regulation.
  • To transmit, or procure the sending of, any advertising or promotional material without our prior written consent.
  • To impersonate or attempt to impersonate Diabolical Labs, a Diabolical Labs employee, another user, or any other person or entity.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer the application or its AI models.
  • Upload content that is malicious, offensive, or violates the rights of others.

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Diabolical Labs, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
